We believe that assigning a Key Person to each child right from the start is the most effective way to foster a strong, supportive relationship with a consistent adult in the nursery. This ensures that every child feels secure, familiar, and confident in their environment. We also ensure that every child has a designated reserve Key Person, who serves as the primary point of contact in the absence of the main Key Person.

Your child’s key person/s will be responsible for: 

• Building a strong relationship with both the child and family to support emotional needs
• Attending the initial settling-in session to ensure a smooth handover, providing consistency for both you and your child
• Gathering and sharing relevant information about your child with the team to ensure their individual needs are met daily
• Assessing and planning for your child’s development, offering both challenges and support to help them reach their full potential
• Providing a detailed progress report every 6 weeks to keep you keep informed about your child’s development
