We believe that assigning a Key Person to each child right from the start is the most effective way to foster a strong, supportive relationship with a consistent adult in the nursery. This ensures that every child feels secure, familiar, and confident in their environment. We also ensure that every child has a designated reserve Key Person, who serves as the primary point of contact in the absence of the main Key Person.
Your child’s key person/s will be responsible for:
Building a strong relationship with both the child and family to support emotional needs
Attending the initial settling-in session to ensure a smooth handover, providing consistency for both you and your child
Gathering and sharing relevant information about your child with the team to ensure their individual needs are met daily
Assessing and planning for your child’s development, offering both challenges and support to help them reach their full potential
Providing a detailed progress report every 6 weeks to keep you keep informed about your child’s development
