SEPTEMBER 2024 - BRENTWOOD DAY NURSERY RE-REGISTRATION UPDATE

After 60 successful years of running Brentwood Day Nursery, Janet Torris is stepping aside to allow her daughter, Rachel Austin (and hopefully granddaughter in future years) to continue her legacy.

This was a necessary change in line with the current requirements and legislation of Ofsted due to the business now operating as a limited company and no longer as sole trader-ship.

Janet will still continue to be a big part of the nursery and attend daily as she has done over the many years but with her daughter now as the registered person.

Following our Ofsted re-registration inspection on the 13th of September, all areas of our provision were addressed and approved by the inspector. In order to meet the requirements for a re-registration, the management and the nursery must display an excellent knowledge of education, safeguarding, welfare and high quality care for the children and we were delighted that the inspector witnessed that all these requirements were met to a high standard

We will continue to welcome and provide high quality childcare and education within the same family feel environment that has been our continued strength over the years.
